A Senufo Kpelié mask, Ivory Coast, the oval face with scarifications around the nose, mouth and forehead; a domed, bulging forehead beneath a sitting senufo woman, circular protrusions on either side of the woman; more protrusions on th eside of the face of horned kpelie masks on each side and triangular projections above and below them, the long chin accopanied by leg like projections on either side; pierced through at the rim for attachments; traces of ritual use and age.
