The Lobi normally don´t have masks. The Lobi carver Sikire Kambire was the first Lobi carver who copied Baule masks for tourists.Later these masks became fetish objects. But the Lobi never used these masks in ritual purpose like in the dance ceremonies of the Baule.
These masks are unusual and extremly rare, in partituar of its pedigree of a a touristc mask, which becomes a ritual object.
