A female Malinke maternity, seated on a cylindrical stools, the bent legs leading to rounded hips and buttocks, the elongated torsos with a protruding navel, large conical breasts, carrieing a stylized child on the back, the thin neck supporting a helmet-like head with jutting chins and small pointed mouths, medial ridges for the nose and brass tracks inset into a recessed heart-shaped face, a fragmentary, domed sinle crested coiffurethe body incised with faint geometric designs, fine and encrusted dark brown patina, collected at the border destrict of Guinea/Mali, but stylistically it´s coming more from the eastern Mande Region, between Sikasso and Koulikoro
