 A rare Bamna D´Jonka couple from the region around Bla, 120 km from Segou.This type of Bamana sculpture isn´t described in the literature. We collected in the last months several exemplares of this style, which is influenced by the Senufo, who are living in the neighbourhood of this area, where Bobo, Bamana and Senufo are located close together; shiny, blackened patina, signs of age and use.
